Went every morning for breakfast whilst I was away working, the best fry up I've ever had and some other really good options also with good coffee. And great service.
Excellent Brunch at Hughs. Great selection of dishes and all at reasonable prices.
First time visiting and won’t be our last! Had a delicious brunch was was super tasty. Really friendly staff and atmosphere was great too. Look forward to our next visit very soon!
Whilst account name is John Shaw, the review is written by Sharon Shaw. I made a reservation for Monday 21 April 2025 for myself and a friend. The service was extremely professional and friendly. The lady who served us couldn’t do enough for us, constantly checking all was ok. Due to my friend and I catching up on a lot that had been happening with an extra glass of wine, the lady needed the table back to accommodate a bigger table, but she immediately moved us to the smaller table at the window for us to relax and catch up even more and we were not rushed at all. The food was amazing as always hence I am a repeat customer, quality and portion size was perfect. I would highly recommend Hugh’s and please do not hesitate to book a table. Sharon Shaw
This is the first time my wife and I have visited this place. We visited as we where given a voucher as a gift, other wise we wouldn't have known about this place. I honestly cannot fault this place. The interior is beautiful, the staff are very nice and attentive and it's very reasonably priced. Value for money. The food was so good. I got the bang bang prawns and Scottish stack. My wife got the schnitzel chicken and loved that to. We both can't wait to go back.
A lovely lunch at Hugh's yesterday. Food was delicious and staff couldn't have been friendlier. Service of lunch was a little slow although we were so busy chatting we hadn't noticed but the server did and reached us before we noticed bringing a round of drinks on the house. So refreshing to be in a setting where the team are actually pre-empting the customer needs!
Lovely little restaurant, great service, yummy food, large rolls packed with bacon, or whatever filling you want. Very fair prices, too. They have an outside eating area where dogs are allowed. My husband and I visit this place every time I'm visiting in Glasgow. Would recommend
I passed by Hugh's on Mother's day and took a look inside. It was understandably fully booked, so we ordered take away. The food was amazing and the cheese cake was the best I've had. Can't wait to go back and I'll book a table this time. Hugh's has it all, beautiful surroundings, lovely food but most importantly fantastic staff. Thank you for my Mother's day rose
